I am a Maine photographer who lives in Cape Elizabeth and spends summers on Cliff Island in Casco Bay.  My principal interest lies in landscape photography that tries to capture the form and beauty that passes so quickly or is otherwise presented in ways that it is often overlooked. In the last several years, my favorite photographs have often fallen within the 60-70mm focal length range (on a crop sensor DSLR) which allows more detailed treatment of my principal subjects of interest. I love dramatic contrasts between light and shadow and how reflections play on water.  Two of my recent pictures have been accepted (2017 and 2019) into the annual Maine Photographic Show. The MPS is the annual premier juried gallery show of photography in Maine with around 300 participants in recent years.
